RateYourCampusAdmin.com is a collaborative website that aims to shed light on the performance of senior administrators. How do we accomplish this? By providing a space for faculty members, staff, and graduate students to comment about the successes and failures of senior administrators. This site is powered by your reviews.
We seek to make public and transparent both praise and manifestations of concern about senior administrators (managers) in higher education. We seek to become a resource for reviews of presidents, provosts, chancellors, vice chancellors, deans, and other high-level administrators in our campuses. We do not seek to evaluate colleagues (even those performing the role of our chairs) and we cannot become a means of communication about serious violations to the law by campus officials. We are, however, a platform for speaking up about day-to-day problems and successes encountered in our working with the administration.
We will commit to: being as responsive as we can (this is not our day job); moderating your comments in an equitable manner; expanding the group of those involved in keeping this website alive; protecting your identities and information within our reach; work in the spirit of solidarity to exchange information about how administrations can be better (or worse) for our collective future.
