Reply from "Jeffrey Armstrong" "Prof Emeritus"

Armstrong does a great job of inflating the reputation of Cal Poly. He seems to be concerned about having goodwill on campus. At times his statements of concern for people hurt in incidents seem over the top and disingenuous. He ignores emails from faculty that may be uncomfortable to him. This is rude and does not foster goodwill. He has been autocratic in dealing with covid, forcing faculty to conduct in-person teaching while virtually all other CSU and UC campuses allow for complete online teaching. His travel budget is significantly higher that any other CSU president.
